Edna,

Words cannot express our sorrow at learning of Roger's passing. Our prayers and condolences go out to you. We remember the good times we had as neighbors and the time we spent solving the world's problems and strategizing over the stock market. We will try to make contact next time we are in Phoenix. Come see us in Solvang when you feel up to it.

Love from us both,

Forrest and Joan

Dearest Edna,

Every time I look out on Roger's beautiful garden and see the little plaque that's says "Dad's Garden" I think of Roger and how he put his heart into his roses. After all these years they are truly his legacy. Please accept my condolences and my prayers in your time of sorrow.

Dear Edna,

Fred Burkenkamp just e-mailed me that he had seen the obituary. I am so very sorry. We are in Camano Island, Washington and won't be home for at least another ten days. I wish that I could be with you right now. You know how much we enjoyed Roger's sense of humor and loved him as well.

Please accept our sincerest condolences.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Roger. We have so many fond memories of the things we did together, like playing golf and bridge. We hope you, Edna, will let us know about you and any change of address. Keep in touch. Love.
