Ronald Jensen Obituary

Ronald Leonard Jensen, 70, beloved husband, Father and
friend, passed away January 28, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Clara, his children: Kris, Holly, Steve, Anne, Jon Brewington, Karen Jensen, Gloria Rogers, Martha Beazley, Lee Beazley, Dianna Simpson and David Simpson. Grandchildren: Shelby, Aidan, Alec, Devin, Kristin, Katie, Lindsey, Riley, Dave Jr., Allisa, Terese, Dannelle, and Christopher. Great Grandchildren: Casey, Kohl, Geoffrey and William. Brother: Larry. Sisters: Norma (Seaver) and Roberta (Robbie Rogers). Ronald Jensen was born on May 25, 1933 in Waukegan, Illinois to Norman and Lillian Jensen. He was lovingly reared alongside siblings Wayne, Larry, Glen, Norma (Seaver), and Roberta (Rogers). His family relocated to Arizona where Ron attended school and later enlisted in the Navy to serve on the U.S.S. Begor during the Korean conflict. He attended Arizona State University and later co-founded Computer Graphics. He empathized with the suffering of others and supported finding cures for Lou Gehrigs' Disease, childhood and infant diseases through the March of Dimes, and many other charities. Ron has left a void in our hearts and lives that will never be filled. In honor of the life of Ronald Leonard Jensen, his family invites those who knew and loved him to the memorial service held at: The Arizona Biltmore Gold Room2400 East Missouri Avenue Phoenix, Arizona 85016 (602-955-6600) on Thursday, February 5, 2004 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations could be made to: Les Turner ALS Foundation www.lesturnerals.org

One of the greatest memories of my life was a phone call I received from Ron asking if I would work at Computer Graphics. He was an amazing programmer working in Assembler and it was my privilege to work for him. He was a great boss and a great man.
