So sorry to hear of your loss. I too had Mr. Tuttle for Algebra at DVHS in the '80s. I remember the first week of school I was a little intimidated by him but once I got to know him, I discovered what a great person and teacher he was. He became one of my favorites there and I would still visit him the following years. He had a wonderful heart and a gift for teaching. I know he will be missed and I look forward to reviewing my Algebra with him again someday.
God bless you all.

I had Mr. Tuttle for Algebra 3-4 back in 85-86. One of my favorite memories of a high school teacher was the day he came into class to tell us what a great job he had. He told us how much he loved math and that it was one of the best teaching jobs you could get. I went into engineering several years later and had to take some pretty challenging math courses. For some reason I always remembered Mr. Tuttle's enthusiasm for it to help me see the beauty of math instead of just the difficulty of a particular class. Bless you, Mr. Tuttle.

I'm sorry for your loss. Your family is in my prayers. I knew Mr. Tuttle when I was at Deer Valley Jr High, from 79-81, but never had him as a teacher until my sophomore year at Deer Valley High. He was an amazing man and those of us who knew him will have our own memeories of how he touched our lives. I do remember him teaching, in the science class, because he didn't have a classroom and he always told us "don't play with the gas valves"...good times. I'm sorry I can't attend, but I will be with everyone in spirit. God Bless You and Your Family!!

So sorry for your loss..I will keep the family in my prayers. I had Mr Tuttle in 1978/79 Jr high for math and I will never forget that year with him. He was a fantastic teacher and really made me feel special in math. He could see potential in me that I didnt know I had. He was one of the few teachers who I have never forgotten. Rest in peace my friend.

Mr. Tuttle was my basic math teacher at Deer Valley Jr. High in 73-74, he was a tough but very fair teacher and my class was in the late afternoon's and I can always remember him talking about his "cool glass of milk" he would enjoy in the afternoon that always refreshed him for the rest of the day ahead. I later looked back on my times with him as a teached and often would quote him on that glass of milk saying, I bet he took a slide rule with him and will be holding class in heaven.

Bless you Mr. Tuttle

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Mr. Tuttle was my AP Algebra teacher at Deer Valley High in '93. He was a very funny teacher. I can still remember his laugh.
