We heard the passing of Roy last week and we were so saddened. Even though we didn't keep in touch with him, we knew he took care of his many constituents in Surprise. May peace & comfort be with you always: to his wife & family and extended family. Also to Richard, Rene & Ronnie whom we met in Arrowhead Ranch back in the 50's. Our hearts ache for you Rachel and family, words cannot even explain how truly missed your husband, dad and tata will be to so so many people. I am proud to have known Roy for so many years, he was not only my boss and mentor for over 20 years, he was our dear friend. Even through the most difficult times with illness, he always took the time to stop by City Hall to ask how we were all doing, asked about our spouses, kids and grandkids and always talked about his family, never ever complaining when he didn't feel well. Thank you my friend for your kindness and compassion throughout the years, we are so grateful to have you as our friend. George and I will miss you stopping by the house to see what progress he has made on the cars. You will see the 69 Camaro done and on the road someday soon my friend.
