Sam Daiza Obituary

Sam M. Daiza Our dearest son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather was carried into heaven by angles on January 6, 2005. He passed due to complications from a stroke. Sam was a courageous, charming, sophisticated, good hearted man with a charismatic smile. He had a generosity and compassion for the needy, he provided for the hungry, and was distinguished by the city. He was a gregarious and fun storyteller. Sam was brilliant in math, and was a successful businessman in different industries. He traveled the world. He was taken from us too soon. A harsh, unacceptable reality etched in our hearts. Our tears will never end for you, our sorrow will linger. Time does not heal such a wound. We tried, we guarded you, we fought and prayed for you with God and man. But God won, you are in His kingdom. This tragedy is too large, the loss so pervasive. We love you, we miss you. Sam never let anyone walk away feeling bad. He did not use the word "no." His compassion will live with us. Pray for Sam. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2005 from 7-9 PM at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale. Mass will be held at 10 AM on Monday, December 10, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3801 N. Miller Rd., Scottsdale.
