Sandra Bara Obituary
Sandra Bara of Phoenix took her final breath on Saturday, May 25th, 2013, with her loving husband of 50 years and her devoted daughter by her side. Sandra was born in Raton, New Mexico on June 19, 1944, to parents Vera and Lee Lancaster. She was raised in Pueblo, Colorado, where she met the love of her life, Tarlan Bara. The happy couple had two children, and moved to Durango, Colorado where she lived for nearly 30 years. She received her degree in teaching and moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where she taught at the Cartwright School District until her retirement in 2008. She is predeceased by her parents and her son Turhan Bara. Sandra is survived by her husband, Tarlan Bara, daughter Tanja Bara Muncey, son-in-law Randy Muncey, grandchildren Ari Bara Romans and Maya Bara Muncey, and brother Jess Lancaster (Nancy) and nieces Beth and Crystal of Pueblo, Colorado. No services will be held. Arrangements by Avenidas Funeral Chapel. Donations to Hospice of the Valley would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.

I will truly miss you, Momma Sandy. As always you are in my heart.
Tarlan, Tanja and family - you are in our thoughts and hearts as well. We loved Sandy and are grateful she was a part of our lives.
I will miss our evil bantering, and I'm pretty sure you always won the "quick wit" wars. I miss and love you.
