Sarah Pavlik Obituary

Pavlik, Sarah A.
of Sun City, AZ, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2013. She joined her beloved husband, Rudy Pavlik, who preceded her in death on December 20, 2011. Sarah was born on August 26, 1927 in NJ to Sarah and Joseph Weiderspahn. Rudy was born on April 13, 1921 in Virginia. They were married in 1959 and moved to Phoenix in 1966. They lived in Sun City since 1972 and were very active in many clubs. Sarah was a member of the Bell Craft Club. Rudy was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was also a member of the Bell Metal Club and the Beekeepers Association of Central Arizona. Sarah and Rudy were members of the Sun City Posse until 1988. They were both Rockhounds and members of the Mineralogical Society of Arizona. Sarah is survived by one brother, Francis Weiderspahn, of Pennsylvania. There we be a Celebration of Their Lives Service at 11am on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Sunland Mortuary; 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Rudy and Sarah Pavlik to either Benevilla (PO Box 8450, Surprise, AZ 85374) or the Sun City Posse (623-972-2555 or www.suncityposse.org).
