Blue was my student when he was in 7th and 8th grade and was such a joy!! I played basketball with him and his friends at lunch everyday and even though my students made fun of the fact that I was sweating all afternoon, it was the joy of my day to play with them. He was athletically gifted but more important, he had a kind soul and I remember him as if it was yesterday. He always loved the fact that Cynthia was his aunt and they were both 2 of my very favorites! I am so sorry Blue is not with us but know he has earned his place in heaven.

My friend Blue was like a brother during our childhood. His ability to make people around him happy and comfortable was one of the things I admired most. The most talented athlet in our group he strived to make sure we were all included in his acivements on the sports field. Blue was never a bully and often stepped up to protect the weaker kids fortunate enough to be around him in their time of need. My friend is here in my heart like he has always been.
