Scott Adams Obituary
Phoenix - Scott J. Adams, 60 of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on August 15, 2018. He was born on September 4, 1957 in Kalamazoo, MI at Bronson Hospital. The son of Jack (deceased) and Darlene Adams. A graduate of Taft High School in Woodland Hills, CA and Arizona Broadcasting School. To his radio fans he was known on the air as Scott McCarthy working at stations in Oklahoma and Texas. Here Phoenix working at FM stations KLOS and KOOL and finally before retiring at KHEY in El Paso. In recent years he decided to moved back to Phoenix to be near his family. He is survived by his mother Darlene, brother Todd (Cindy), nieces Mandy and Jenny, and many cousins in Michigan. A memorial service will be held at 1pm, September 1 at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2530 E. Greenway Rd Phoenix, AZ 85022.
