Scott Inman Obituary

Scott Thomas Inman, age 45, passed away quietly at his home on Saturday May 3, 2008 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 10, 1962. He graduated from East Troy High School in Wisconsin and was enlisted in the US Coast Guard receiving many honors from his commanders. His passion for woodworking led him to build many fine pieces of artwork including intricate stagecoaches, Christmas Sleighs, and hanging lights. As a single father, his greatest accomplishment was raising Amanda who turned into a fine 18 yr old. He is survived by her, his parents Tom and Marcia, his brother Randy, sister Laura, Grandmother Mabel Inman and many friends. Scott was a loving son, father, brother, and grandson and will be missed dearly. A short "Celebration of Life" will be held at the home of Tom and Marcia Inman, 11508 E. Pine Valley Rd, Scottsdale, AZ., 85255 on May 10th between 2:00-4:00 pm. The Inman family recognizes that Scott's daughter is beginning her adult life without her fathers' emotional and financial support. We asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the "The Amanda Inman Support Fund." Donations are tax deductible and can be made payable to "The Amanda Inman Support Fund." They are accepted at all Bank Of America locations or can be mailed to: "The Amanda Inman Support Fund", c/o Randy and Kris Inman, 14529 E. Circle L Ranch Pl., Vail, AZ. 85641.

Dear Tom & Marcia,

Bereavement is so personal that few of us, unless we have experienced it ourselves. can comprehend its grief. Your son, Scott, was a fine young man with lots of creative ability. We were fortunate to have known him.

Sincerely,

Steve Yannone

Dear Tom, Marcia, Amanda, Laura, Randy and family. My heart goes out to all of you. There are not enough words to express my sorrow for your loss of such a fine son, brother and wonderful father.
Being a single father myself we spoke often of our challanges but even more often of the joy we shared watching the growth and accomplishments of our children. I commend him for his strength and the fine job he did. He will be sorely missed. If ever there is anything I can do for you and Amanda please call on me.

Your friend, Steve Yannone

Dear Tom, Marcia, Amanda, and the entire Inman family,
Our hearts feel your pain at the loss of your beloved Scott. There are no words to express how deeply we are with you in spirit.
We will remember Scott at your family functions on Pine Valley Rd, and will think of him each time we watch a joyous grandchild swinging in your driveway on the swing Scott make lovingly with his hands and his heart.
Our love, Karyn & Robert

Scott was such a wonderful father and was always very kind to me. Anytime I wanted to visit Amanda when I was in town, Scott was very gracious. I know Amanda will miss him dearly.
