Today I laid my brother to rest....The hardest thing I have ever done. I tried my whole life to be First...But He was older and was always first...Now he is gone and I'm first..or "Next in line"...I don't want to be first anymore I want to go back to the way it was...With him here. I want to be 2nd. I'm ok with that...I Promise... Appreciate what you have..What GOD gave you... I Love you Scott......

Steve, Sharon, and family . . . although we did not have opportunity to know Scott, it was obvious in today's memorial that all of you have good memories of a son, big brother, and father. Those who spoke and the slide show gave us the chance to know your family in a very real sense. We pray that you find comfort in the weeks and months ahead.

I first met Scott when i was hired on as a field tech for cellular one and have worked with him directly and indirectly through cellular one/alltel/verizon. He was one of the first to train me. Through all the years in this business I have never met anyone like Scott and probably never will. I never once saw or heard him get angry, frustrated, or talk bad about someone. He was such a good person and a calming person with his soft spoken words for a big man. He always had a smile to give, a quick one-liner or a thought provoking phrase. Which at times i would say. ... "Wilbur what the heck are you talking about"? His good nature and friendship will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to his family and all that knew Scott. Rest in peace.

Big brother Scott, you not only taught me how to solve a rubik's cube, you taught me how to question, think, learn, and grow. You were very clever, but you never took advantage of me, as I was years behind. Your only goal was to help me better understand the world around me and how things work. In addition to being a good teacher (especially in science and chemistry), you always had a joke, funny story, magic trick, or intellectual challenge to ponder. I looked forward to them all! Above all these things, the love you had and sacrifices you made for your daughters inspires me to be a better dad to my girls. I will forever be grateful. Rest in peace.

Scott was one the nicest guys I've ever known. I used to work with Scott and he was a person that would always have a smile for you no matter what. He was a friend to all. I was very sad to hear that he is no longer with us. My thoughts and prayers go out to Scott's family and friends. Rest in peace Scott...you will be missed.

I have fond memories of Scott as a precocious youngster.
He was a fine young man and we will miss him.
