Sophia Shubin Obituary
Sophia Shubin died November 10, 2011 in Peoria. She was born on August 7, 1942 in Milan, MI. Sophia is survived by her son Michael (Maria), daughter Tanya (Mark) Head, brother Tony (Joan) Muniz and a grandson Alexander Michael Shubin. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, siblings Benny, Eddie, Sally, Diane and Betty. Family and friends are invited to a viewing TODAY Saturday, November 12 from 2-4 PM. A celebration of Sophia's life will begin at 4PM at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Road, Peoria.

Tonya and Mike, Sophie was such a special lady. Such a joy to work with and be around. Kit and I were talking about her just a few weeks ago and remembering all the fun things about her. I know she will be missed. Our love and prayers to you. Kit and Linda Bartholow

Mike and Tonya my sincere sympathy goes out to you both for the loss of your Mother. She was a wonderful lady. Always a smile on her face, and a love of God...May you both find the solace in Jesus Christ for his comfort and love....I will always keep Sophia in my heart as well as both of you.
