Stanley Edgerton Obituary
88 died on Monday, May 12, 2014. Stanley was born December 6, 1925. He served his country in the Air Force during WWII and spent 30 years working for the Upjohn/Pfizer company. Stanley resided in Peoria, AZ with his loving wife Jeanne of 65 years. Mr. Edgerton was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. A gentle and compassionate man, Stanley was an active member of his church community, a music lover, pianist, Mr. Fix-It, and always quick to lend a helping hand. He is survived by wife Jeanne Edgerton, 3 children, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A memorial service will be Saturday, May 17th at 10:30am at the American Lutheran Church of Sun City, 17200 N. Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85373. Reception following service at Freedom Plaza. Memorials may be given to the Music Fund at the American Lutheran Church of Sun City or to Freedom Plaza Del Rio Foundation Scholarship Fund, 13373 Plaza Del Rio Blvd. Peoria, AZ 85351.

The loss of someone is apart of life but being able to be blessed with someone and to have the opportunity to spend sometime with them is a gift from above. I loved waking up each morning knowing I was headed to see Stan. I've only known you for a short period of time, but I do thank god every morning for that opportunity. To see you smile and laugh every day and crack jokes were the best moments with you. I am truly blessed to be given the blessing of meeting the Edgerton Family.I send all my prayers and love to your family. May you rest in Heavenly Peace.

Jeanne: I know your friends here at Freedom Plaza will miss seeing Stan's gentle, smiling face almost as much as you will. Shopping trips will not be the same.
