I also swam with Stu. The water polo workouts were the worst! When I would see Stu in the halls at Jefferson H.S. he would always flash his unforgettable smile. Realize, this was before Crest Whitening Strips. Man, he was so good looking! What a sad loss. May the God of hope give his family and friends peace and comfort. 2 Thess. 2:16&17.

To the Nechanicky Family... I went to Jefferson High School and Stu was a couple years ahead of me. He had an amazing group of friends. Everyone really liked Stu and he had a name you'd never forget. There was something special about him. It was quite apparent... I think everyone believes there is a special place in Heaven for him. ~ My deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends. My most vivid memories of you take me back to Taft Junior High, and thinking of you pumping out 400's during our three undefeated track seasons. WITH ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT, I am saddened to hear of the news of your father and a friend, he was a great guy! He was like a brother to me in High School, we were in sports together and ran the streets to it’s fullest (we were just young boys). I remember hanging out with Stu after a close call in High School, We said then he had an angel watching over him, we look back knowing God had a purpose for Stu and blessed him with two daughters to love and cherish.I know he was a great loving father.One thing I know we will all especially remember is his smile and his laugh!We were all blessed to have had him in our lives,and know he will be smiling down on us !

I was lucky to have known Stu... growing up, I have very fond memories of the Scouting trips and campouts that we went on as a member of Boy Scout Troop 29. Later on, in High School, Stu and I re-kindled our friendship on the J-Hawk Swim Team, of which I have alot of fond memories. I'd like to express my sincere sympathies to Stu's Family and Friends. He will be greatly missed.

Wow! I miss Stu! We had some tuff times but like everyone says no matter how down I was stu would always make me smile/laugh he would say he just wants to see me happy. Stu was a year ahead of me at Jefferson and we were on the swim team together. I remember his laugh and his smile and his intense spirit with fondness. I remember him as a good person back then. And from what I have read in this guest book he grew into a good man who worked hard and loved his family very much. I am deeply saddened to hear about his death and I pray for his family and friends that he leaves behind. May God grant each of you comfort in the years to come. You both were too young to remember the brief visit that I and my son, Hunter had at your parents home. I remember your father picking us up at the airport and he had the biggest smile on his face. It was evident that he liked to talk, because he chatted the whole drive to your home. It was a pleasant but short visit, but I do have photos that I took.
