To Susan's sons,
I met all of you at Donny's wake and funeral last year. I cannot believe that she is gone. I was so impressed at what fine sons she had raised and I could see the closeness between all of you.
I met your mom in 1959 at Stony Lane School. She was such a sweet and caring girl. She was so pretty and very popular. She was always in fashion. I remember her coming in to school one day with a new pair of shoes and I begged my parents to get me the same pair.
I'm glad I had the opportunity to see her last year. We exchanged email addresses with good intentions of keeping in touch. But you know how that goes - life got in the way. I wish you all my deepest sympathy.

Dear Frank and family,
Cary called yesterday with the dreadful news of Susan. I'm terribly shaken up! I've been thinking hard about you and Susan this past month and was trying to figure out a way to get in touch again. I feel angry that Fate has delivered such a cruel blow to all of you and I feel angry with myself for not trying harder to find you. At least I could have told her I loved her and how much joy and laughter she brought into my life. And, just how often I think about you both.
Susan was quite a gal and she was always "UP", no matter the circumstances. She always made me laugh, and laugh hard. She was so loving with everyone and cared like nobody else could care.
She touched many lives here in AZ, with that tremendous accent and her hearty laugh, and knowing that she's gone has made me very, very sad.
Please call me in Florence, when you get back, Frank. My number is in the directory.
Please know that I am thinking about all of you. This will leave a big void in all of our lives.
With love and great sympathy,
steve morello

My memories of Sue will always be the fondest, especially her sunny smile and infectious laugh. She will be smiling and free of pain when she joins Uncle Jimmy, Aunt Lu, and James Michael in heaven. My condolences to her sons and all my Sloane cousins and their families. Cory Demko
