Ann: My deepest sympathy to you and your family. From Collinwood High School to Ohio University to Phi Kappa, I enjoyed and was honored to be a friend of Tom. With Dick Mariani and Doc, we had a blast at OU. Tom's an unbeatable person. This part of life is sometimes "heck" when you lose someone as great as Tom. I shall remember him always.

Ann, Tom and I went through hell week together enjoyed a heartwarming friendship through the years at OU and Phi Kappa. We kept in touch, while you guys were in Europe and around the country. I particularly enjoyed being with him at the Phi Kap outings with Doc and John Capella. I am deeply saddened by his passing. Carole and I had hoped to see both of you on a planned trip to Arizona later this month. I am pleased to say that I knew and loved Tom, we shared a lot of good times. God Bless you.

I've had the privilege to have known Tom over the past five years. Both he and Ann have welcomed me in their home with open arms to perform service work many times in the course of a year. He always made me feel like I was part of the family. I remember the day I was working for them & Tom was so excited & proud to tell me about his recent trip where he got to fly in a vintage world war two fighter plane. I knew it was one of the highlights of his wonderful life. He will be greatly missed! Fly on Tom.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Mayer family. We have known Tom and Ann for over 15 years. I had the privilege to work for him for a few of those years and developed a valued friendship since. While I know Tom as an accomplished businessman, I will always remember him as a great man devoted to his family.
We will miss him greatly.

I have known Tom for over 50 years as a Phi Kap brother. We had and continue to have a wonderful relationship with the Phi Kap men of the 1950s. Rest well Tom. I'll miss bulldog810

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. As a friend to his son, Michael, I know that he was loved and respected by his family. My heart goes out to you during this time and days to come.

Neither of us knew Tom very well having only been around him a handful of times. But it took only those few times to know Tom as warm and caring, highly intelligent and honest and straight-forward. We will miss him a lot.

Tom was a very good neighbor, a very good friend, a wonderful husband, father and grandfather!
Who can forget that grin and those eyes that sparkled when he faced a 'challenge'?
Our hearts go out to Ann and the children
