I met Shelli from volunteering at Combs Sch. & going on many field trips w/her & Luke. Luke shared many classes with my son Adam. To the Family,
I can only imagine the hole left in your lives right now. I know I couldn't say a word when I learned of your loss, just dumbstruck. It is impossible to remember your folks without the laughter and love that was first and formost in their lives.
Tom, Shelli,I still can't believe you're gone. You are still lighting up the world, though. Blessings, such as you are, I know you still watch over your family and friends. You are sorely missed on this side, though.
Being in the Posse together and having shared fun times, the news really hit us hard. We share your loss and grief, and if there is anything that I can do, please, just let me know.

Leslie, Lindsey and Luke,
My link with Tom, Shelli and you goes back nearly 20 years. That was the first time I met Tom and Shelli, working on their horses. We had lots of great talks over the years, some regular times and a few emergencies. Tom and Shelli were always the best kind of people-kind,generous and just a little crazy as they had horses! Thanks for letting us all have a chance to say goodbye to your mom and dad and know that the commnity will always be there to support you if you need anything.

Leslie, Lindsey, and Lucas,
WE love you all and want you to know we will be there for you when we return to AZ.

Your Mom and Dad were the greatest couple. We spent many happy times with them from Iowa to Arizona. Our kids will never forget all of the great times they had with Tom and Shelli.

I met your Dad over 30 years ago when he was an EMT and I worked the emergency room in Washington. Then we followed a year after him and moved to AZ. When he met your Mom our friendship continued. They were such loving parents and great people. We grieve with your loss but know they are both in a wonderful place with Grandpa Dale and other great grandparents.

Be strong and think of your wonderful memories. We love you all and will see you soon.
Love,

Beni DeMattei

To the family of Tom and Shelli:

I went to the University of Iowa with Tom, and he was a good friend and a good guy. We had a lot of great times in Iowa City, and we'd go pheasant hunting and stay at the Sheetz house in Washington. My family's thoughts and prayers are with Tom, Shelli, and their entire family at this most difficult time. God Bless.
