There are so many good memories that we don't even know where to start. We will truly miss your cooking and then trying the recipes ourselves. We will miss visiting you at the Lakeside cabin for great food and company. We both love you very much! Jim and Lois

Grandad,
You taught me one of the first and best life lessons. How to give a firm and almost knuckle busting handshake. It doesn't sound like much but it has helped spare me the embarrassment of having a "dead fish" style handshake and making myself look like a complete woman. I miss you lots Grandad.
Love, Billy
P.S. I'll remember to tell the kids not to run on the deck for you.

Grandad,
I miss you very much! I will never forget staying with you at the cabin during our summer breaks and how you would make us the best silver dollar sized blueberry pancakes!! I can't seem to make them quite like you could. Thank you for all the great memories, you will be forever missed.
Love you very much, Andrea

Dad,
Don't think I will forget all the life's lessons you taught me, how could I? Cause if you told me once, you told me 18 thousand times!!

Grandad , just wanted to say, you got me last. You touched us all in so many ways and are truly missed. Aspen asked me " who will I kiss on the cheek now ? ". Until we meet again , rest in peace.

Grandad,
Thank you for the great memories. From your humor to the stories you'd tell that would leave me captivated. I will always be proud to be a Welnick. I loved going up to the cabin and spending time with you and Grams. Sitting around your gigantic dinner table was always special to me. I will always remember you sitting at the head of the table in your orange swivel chair. Thank you for having a plethora of children...aunts, uncles, and a dad who I am always looking up to. I love you and I miss you.

Granddad,
I am so blessed to have had you as a Grandfather. I think about you all the time. Of all of the fond memories, I keep going back to how much I loved going to the grocery store with you while staying at the cabin. "We're off like a hoid of toites". You will forever be in my heart. Love, Kristen

Grandad,
I have so many amazing memories with you, I loved spending summers up at the cabin. I enjoyed doing the crosswords, watching Jeopardy, and Kristen and I putting on our singing shows. :-) My birthday will never be the same without you here, I miss you so much! Just remember I got you last. Love you, Katie

Dear Granddad,
Let me start by saying that you are missed so much by all of your family. We love you so much! You were the best Granddad that a child could ask for. You raised a great family which included my mother. Thanks for raising such a wonderful lady whom later became a wonderful mother to my brother and I. I always loved coming over to your house to visit and play. I enjoyed sitting down with you and having great conversations about yourself and the family. You always had great games that you would play with us as children and as we would grow up. I miss seeing your smile and at the same time, I miss you shaking your head and whispering, "Stephanie, shhhh" in your low voice even when it wasn't me being loud. The best memory I have of you though is when we would play the "gotcha last" game at the car when we were leaving from somewhere. You would always reach in and touch me and say, "gotcha last, no touch backs". Well, Granddad, I sure wish you were hear today to "get me last" so I could touch you back! I love you Granddad and miss you a lot! All my love, Stephanie
