Wilfried Solenthaler Obituary
49, of Mesa, AZ passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009. He was born on December 15, 1959 in Switzerland, the son of Walter and Gertrud Solenthaler. Willy was educated in Switzerland for 19 years before moving to America in 1986. He worked for Gerberit in Michigan City, Indiana until 1997. In 1999 he became a U.S. Citizen. He married Okhui Cho on March 2, 1991 in Michigan City, Indiana. They have one son Jacob Solenthaler. He later moved to Phoenix, Arizona and started his own company, Total Plastic Services. He loved his work and always did things right. He was a blessing to those he met and cared for his employees and those in need. He had a big heart for his family and friends and will be remembered most for his willingness to give all he had and to help others in need. He leaves behind his mother and father, wife, one son, two sisters: Monica Bertangie and Trudy Shonenburger. Brother: Walter Solenthaler. Niece: Nadia Bertangie. Nephew: Sandro Bertangie. Memorial Service will be held, Monday, May 4, 2009 at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Road in Mesa at 6:00 PM.

Willie was always great to me. As a salesman, that is not always the case. Willy always took my calls and was friendly and classy without exception.
He will be missed.

I remember Willy when he came from Switzerland and lived with us for a while - his friend Manfred sent the both of us to buy dishes, etc. because he was going to rent a house and Willy and I came home with a car! Then he met his beautiful bride, Okhui, and I had a baby shower for them, and I talked them into a new name for their son - Jacob - Willy I will never forget you or your family. Love Priscilla

Willy was like a father to me. He was the kindest and most generous person I have ever known. He was my boss, my confidant, and most of all he was my friend.
He would always crack a big smile when I would jokingly tell him he was "smarter than the average bear".
I will always cherish the great times we had together and his memory will live on in my heart forever.

We can't believe that Willy is gone... He was such a nice person ! He was always nice to me and my son. We were lucky to have met such a nice&friendly person , we will miss him! We would like to say "Thank you very much" and "Please rest in peace" to Willy.

We have known Willy for over twenty years. He was a great person that would help anyone and a great friend. We feel a void in our life's that can't be replaced. Our hearts go out to his wife Okhui and son Jacob. Until we meet again Willy.
