What a great loss for the community of Wickenburg! Although I no longer live there, Dr. Firth was my doctor for the 11 years I was there... although I experienced him as a man of few words, I always appreciated his kind and compassionate manner and how he cared for his patients. He will be greatly missed!

I first met Bil in 1995 at Remuda Ranch, I was struck by this medical skills, but even more so by his compassion and dedication to these girls and women. Of course, I wanted him for my doctor, and his skills, dry sense of humor and care where a gift that I will not be able to replace. He was my doctor and will always be my friend. I know God will shower him with blessings forevermore. David W

Bil was our doctor for 24 years in Wickenburg. He was a wonderful doctor--so knowledgeable, totally competent, yet humble and so kind. He really listened to patients and valued their ideas about their own health. He took his responsibilities seriously, but not himself. We loved his dry sense of humor. He had the talent to do anything, but he chose a life of service in this small town. But, he left a giant print on the lives of all he met and helped here. My wife Jackie and I will always love Bil. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family, friends, and office staff. FS

I was thrilled to have you as my Doctor and always respected the way you dealt with me and all your patients. It was also a pleasure to work with you those years at Wickenburg Regional Hospital. You taught me more than you will ever know. Rest in peace my friend.

Bill was a wonderful human being and a brilliant, compassionate, and dedicated physician. The combination of his PhD in Biochemistry and his MD provided an incredible level of care for his patients. I am so blessed to have known him as a friend and worked with him at Remuda Ranch where I witnessed his deep commitment to his patients. My love and deepest sympathies to his family.

Dr. Firth was an outstanding role model for our medical students, he was selected Rural Preceptor of the Year in 2010 and he was absolutely loved and admired by all our medical students and residents whom he precepted. He was a great teacher, inspired professionalism and passed on his love of medicine. My heart is heavy for his family and I send my prayers to them. I was planning on seeing him in February was I was going to introduce him to other UA faculty who had not yet met him. He was an amazing man, gone too soon, but someone who made an impact in the world in a big way....he will be missed. Peace to his family.

RIP in peace my good friend Bill. I remember when you joined Dr. Hanson in Wickenburg many, many years ago and I joined your small and mighty team as your back office assist. I will never forget you, all that you taught me and the long hours and all that you taught me. I remember you enjoying hiking and target practicing and glad you were able to once again find enjoyment in doing these things that you loved. My thoughts and prayers are with Anne and your family during this difficult time. Until we meet again, you will be missed and never forgotten!

Dr. Firth was a "healer" in the truest sense of the word, and he will be sorely missed by all of us in Wickenburg, Arizona. A man of the highest dedication to his patients and his profession; a soothing "bed-side manner", sense of humor, and genuine love for all of us who were blessed to call him "our doctor". May our Heavenly Father bring our dear friend and doctor to His heavenly Reign through Messiah Yeshua, and give him everlasting peace and love, even forever. Amen.

My heart breaks at losing such an incredible Dr. and friend. I have always sang his praises, telling everyone who would listen, how blessed I was to have him as my doctor. He was pleasant, patient, loving and brilliant. I never felt rushed while he sat and tried to help me with my ailments. I have never had such a wonderful doctor in all my years. My love goes out to his family who were blessed to have him so wholly in their lives. He will be greatly missed.
