William Gadberry Obituary

Gadberry, William "Bill"
69, passed away peacefully with his family by his side in Gilbert on September 13, 2015. Bill's father moved him to Arizona from Indiana in 1954. After high school in Scottsdale, Bill lived in Oregon and California but came back home where he met and married the love of his life for 36 years, Shelia. Their love produced two boys which were a joy in their father's heart, Adam and David. Bill was excited and very proud to become a Phoenix Police Officer. He loved riding motorcycles and for part of his career Bill was a motorcycle officer, He also became a detective, but after 25 years on the force, Bill retired in 2006. Bill was an easy going guy with the gift of gab. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. Bill is survived by his wife, 3 sons and 1 Daughter and 5 grandchildren. A visitation will be held at 1p.m. with a prayer service at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Mortuary, 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ, 85204.
