William Gunnell Obituary

William LeRoy (Roy) Gunnell, 79, passed away at home March 19, 2006 in Deer Park, WA. He was born July 27, 1926 in Naf, ID to William B. and Fay L. Gunnell. He married Marjorie Winchester of Everett, WA, on Nov. 30, 1947. He retired from Big O Tires in 2003 as the Regional VP for Arizona and New Mexico. He loved the out of doors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Roy also loved music and dancing and was an accomplished singer. He is survived by wife Marjorie, sister Gayle Gunnell and children Marcia Madsen, Darla Klovski, and Steve Gunnell, along with five young grandsons. Donations may be made in Roy's name to: Arizona Cancer Center/ UAF, 1515 N. Campbell Avenue, Box 245013 Tucson, AZ 85724 Attn: Pancreatic Program. Visitation Monday March 27 from 6-8PM, Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ. Services Tuesday, March 28 10AM, LDS Gilbert Stake Center, 777 E. Elliot Rd., Gilbert, AZ with visitation one-hour prior to services.
