William Martin Obituary
74, passed away suddenly on December 26, 2016 in San Diego. He was a beloved son, husband, father and friend. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1942, Bill attended Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, The University of Tulsa (OK), and Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona. He began his professional career with the Campbell Soup Company in Camden, NJ, and joined Armour-Dial when the company moved from Chicago to Phoenix in 1972, ultimately becoming The Dial Corporation. His career continued with consumer products companies in three southern states and he retired in 2003. Bill was married to Nancy Thomas Martin for over 50 years and they had two beloved sons, Craig and the late Andrew Martin. He is survived by his wife, son, granddaughter Emily, and daughter-in-law Stephanie of San Diego, California. A private interment will be at sea off the coast of LaJolla, joining his son Andrew.

Nancy: I speak for all our volunteers at Call 12 for Action. Bill was a much loved and respected friend to all of us and especially his Monday group. He will be so missed by us all.

I was happy to have had time talking to him at dinner, that night. I wish I could have known him better. It was always nice to have him and Nancy at out family gatherings. Our sincerest sympathy to Nancy and Craig. Ken and I are very fond of Craig and send our love.
