Brian Keith Boyer, or as many knew him, "Boz, Wonderful Boz," son of Charles and Winifred Boyer, passed away on June 7th, 2016, after an incredible and valiant fight against brain cancer.
Brian was a most humble and kind man, who devoted his life to his family and friends. You could always count on a wonderful smile, a warm hug, an infectious laugh, and plenty of love and compassion when in Brian's company. These memories will be forever ingrained in the hearts and minds of those who knew him.
Brian was the best husband, father, son, son-in-law, friend, and person he could be, and enriched the lives of everyone around him. He never missed an opportunity to live life to the fullest, and to enjoy the people he surrounded himself with. Never one to put life or a project on hold, he woke every morning with a busy schedule-a schedule that always included having the most fun possible and making each day positive and special for those around him.
Brian was an active person and incredible athlete who loved snow and water skiing, boating, sailing, dirt biking, golfing, tequila, beer, and river running. The menu changed from day to day, but often included two or more of the aforementioned ingredients to spice things up. No day was to be wasted; Brian loved to quote, "We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time!" And boy, did Boz know how to have a good time. He was religious about his love for life and those he loved.
Brian touched thousands of lives and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He left behind his wife and four wonderful children, who would like to thank everyone for their love, support, and kindness during this difficult time. We are grateful for the time we had with this extraordinary man and the lasting friendships he helped to create.
In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made in his memory to the Arizona Community Foundation of Flagstaff, P.O. Box U, Flagstaff, AZ 86002. Please include "Boz" on the memo line.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Friday, June 24th, at 4:00 pm at The Arizona Snowbowl, Hart Prairie Lodge.
