Chris Baze Obituary

Chris Lee Baze Sr. passed away peacefully at his home in Winona on Saturday, August 2nd, drinking a Coors and reading a book.
He is survived by his children, Leanne Collum, Chris Baze Jr., Joseph Baze, and Paul Baze, as well as his former spouses, Tami and Katie.
Chris lived an interesting and full life, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, service, and connection. Over the years, he touched countless lives through his many roles: working at WinOil Company, serving the State of Arizona as a firefighter with ADOT, contributing at the Walking Cane Ranch, working at Superlite Block, and later running the towing at the Winona Trading Post. His journey reflected both dedication and resilience, and those who knew him will remember not just his work, but the heart he brought to it.
An informal memorial was held in his memory August 31st. It was a event he would have liked a time to share stories, reflect on the impact Chris had on all of us, and support one another in remembrance.

So sorry for your loss.

While I don't think I knew Mr. Baze, I did know his sons when they were students at Coconino HS where I taught. I can attest that Chris, Joe, and Paul were and are fine young men and I think that says alot for the man who fathered them. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of your loss.
