Maria Miller Obituary
September 4, 1938 - November 11, 2024
Maria Rosalina Miller, 86, passed away on November 11, 2024, in Mesa, AZ. Born in Sonora, AZ, to David and Herminia Berlanga, Maria grew up in California, with siblings Roque and Dora. Maria and her late husband, Richard Miller (1931-2018) raised their two sons, David and Billy, in Flagstaff, AZ. Maria has lived in Mesa since 2021. Her life was a testament to service, as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and dedicated nurse.
Maria was tireless in her healthcare career and her commitment extended to the Navajo Nation in Arizona. Maria's compassion and dedication touched countless lives, making her a beacon of comfort. A lifelong learner, Marie sought and achieved a Master's Degree at Northern Arizona University (NAU).
Maria is remembered with love by her sons, David and Billy; her daughters-in-law, Sandi and Libby; her grandchildren, Mabel, Kaira, Clara and Cade. She was a woman of great Catholic faith, warmth and generosity, and a dedicated Arizona Cardinals fan. She leaves a legacy of kindness, care and a passion for life that will endure in all our hearts.
Services will be Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at San Francisco De Asis Catholic Church, 1600 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, AZ. Rosary begins at 10 a.m., mass at 10:30 a.m., with conclusion of services at Calvary Cemetery (St. Joseph Niche). All who wish to honor Maria's life are invited.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maria's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her lifelong spirit of generosity.

Sorry for your loss. Maria was a dear friend of mine. I missed her when she moved to Mesa.
We stayed in touch until a few months back.
She loved her family very much. I am sure you are going to miss that love.
Won´t be attending her memorial service as I am out of town. Theresa.

Maria was one of the kindest lovely lady I had the pleasure to have met. She helped my daughter in so many ways and became a very dear friend to me. I will miss her deeply.
