Michael Perez Obituary
Michael Anthony Perez, 57, of Flagstaff, died July 1, 2010. He was born July 25, 1952, in Los Angeles.
He moved to Flagstaff from L.A. 13 years ago; his parents, Tony O'Campo Perez and Dora Armijo, were born and raised in Flagstaff and had moved to L.A. 48 years ago. Mr. Perez worked in Flagstaff as a cab driver for Friendly Cab. He loved his job and he made numerous friends at the cab company and around town. He truly loved showing people around Flagstaff and getting people to their destinations. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Mr. Perez is survived by his mother, Dora Armijo Perez; three brothers; one sister; two children; one grandchild; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his longtime partner, Cindy Burris. He was preceded in death by his father.
A service to celebrate his life will be Sunday, July 25, at 2 p.m. (which would have been his 58th birthday) at the Flagstaff Federated Community Church.
