Steven W. McMahon, 57, long time Flagstaff resident, was suddenly taken away from us on December 28, 2013. At the time of his death Steve worked for Personnel Safety Enterprises, Zee Medical. Steve had been in retail sales in the Flagstaff are for over 24 years and made many lifelong friends that will deeply miss him.
Steve enjoyed spending time with his wife and best friend, Cindie, and their three boys, they were a family that did everything together. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and just being in the outdoors. He had coached little league baseball, helped coach with soccer, was a Cub Scout Master for many years and also helped with Boy Scouts and was an active member of many booster clubs. Steve's contribution of his time and dedication to not only his own kids but to countless others resonates throughout the Flagstaff community. Steve was a simple man and simple things made him happy. His witty sense of humor and his smile will be terribly missed by all he knew and loved.
Steve is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cindie, his three sons: Ross, Flagstaff, Az. Grady, Phoenix, Az. and Spencer, Flagstaff, Az, his Mother, Valda McMahon, Eugene, Oregon, his three sisters; Marsha (Tom Rice), Eugene, Oregon, Cindy Robinson, Eugene, Oregon and Suzy Sawnson, Springfield, Oregon, his four brothers: Dan (Lova), Hutchinson, Kansas, John (Denise), Bandon, Oregon, Marty (Rhonda), Lowell, Oregon and Jeff (Carol), Crabtree, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace McMahon.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Christ Church of Flagstaff, 3475 E. Soliere Ave, Flagstaff, Az.
