I'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER WOODY WEEMS OUT ON THE FHS FOOTBALL FIELD. HE HIT LIKE A TRUCK---DIDN'T COME ANY TOUGHER. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HURT MORE---HITTING THAT FROZEN FOOTBALL FIELD GROUND IN THE WINTER IN FLAG (JUST LIKE PLAYING ON CEMENT) OR GETTING HIT BY WOODY WEEMS---NEITHER ONE WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE! I'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER YAH WOODY. PETE PERKINS FHS CLASS 59

Papa Woody will be greatly missed by many in Northern Arizona. He truly lead a very accomplished life. Having grown up in humble beginnings he had a very successful career and loved helping people in his spare time. He coached youth baseball for many years and had great success. This mentoring was passed down to his sons who have all enjoyed working with their children as well. He was also a very accomplished outdoorsman and archer. Archery was a passion of his from a State Championship in the '60's to teaching generations of archers, the finer points of the sport. He will be greatly missed by all and was a true inspiration and a man of high integrity and wisdom. Love ya Dad, Gary
