In Loving Memory of Andrew Lawrence Millican Sept. 12, 1918 - Mar. 8, 2006 Larry was born andd raised in Dallas, Texas and passed away March 8, 2006, in Palm Bay, Florida. After World War II ended Larry settled in Bakersfield and made it home with his wife Gladys. After 13 years they divorced and he married his present wife, Ruth. Larry made many friends along the way through his work. He was employed as a Bail Bondsman partner, sold Life Insurance for Prudential and eventually ended up at Southern Auto doing Outside Sales. Larry was preceded in death by his son, Larry Alan Millican. He is survived by his wife, Ruth and daughter, Donna Carter of Bakersfield and son-in-law, James Carter. Larry has 3 grandchildren, Sherri Castle, Jimmy Carter and John Carter. He also has 8 great-grandchildren, Kandice, Lyndsey and Mellissa Castle, Bryson, Megan and Jessica Carter and Alex and Nathan Carter and 1 great-great-grandson, Sven born to Lyndsey. He is also survived by Robert Cox who he thought of as a son and his wife, Debra. Larry was a loving and caring father and devoted husband. He made many friends wherever he was. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services were held in Titusville, Florida on Tuesday, March 14, 2006. Legacy.com
