Anna Knox Obituary

Anna Jay Knox 1913 - 2010 Anna Jay Knox was born on July 12, 1913 and went to be with the Lord June 6, 2010. Anna Jay is survived by her daughters, Peggy Russell and Joanne Wammock; grandchildren, Cindy, Cathy, Christy, Raymond and Elizabeth along with several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandbabies. Anna Jay was a beautiful lady with a contagious high pitched little giggle that always put a smile on everyone's face. She cherished her family and encouraged everyone to have faith in the Lord our King. She loved her husband Lewis and spoke of the day when she would be reunited with him in Heaven. Sports were a big part of Anna Jay's life. She supported the Renegades, bowled in many leagues and also was an avid fan of the Lakers and adored Kobe Bryant. Anna Jay saw the beauty in nature and enjoyed her beautiful patio where she loved to sit and watch the birds and smell the roses. With special thanks to Betsy, Laura and children, Tilly, Sherril, and Hoffmann Hospice. Graveside service will be held Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Lane. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary www.bakersfield.com/obits
