ARNOLD GARCIA

August 27, 1952 – November 5, 2025

Arnold Garcia, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and proud member of the Paiute tribe, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025. Born August 27, 1952, in Tehachapi, CA, Arnold graduated from Tehachapi High in 1971, Lewis - Clark State College in 1974, and Essex County College in 1979.

He dedicated nearly 40 years to caring for others as a psychiatric technician at Kern County Mental Health and Good Samaritan Hospital, notably leading a depression support group for over 20 years. Beyond his career, Arnold was a man of calmness and reason who brought laughter and joy to his family. He married Rosalie on April 19, 1996, loving her children, Lisa, Andrea and Ernest, as his own from day one.

A true Christian, Arnold trusted God's plan, often reading his Bible late into the night while listening to music. He was known for his generosity – always the first to give – and a laugh that will be hard to forget. He enjoyed kayaking the Kern River, traveling the world with his bride, and cherishing time with his nieces, nephew, and six grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalie; his children, Lisa Wren and husband Brandon, Andrea Tellez and husband Eliu, and Ernest Garcia-Diaz and wife Kristabel; his six cherished grandchildren; his brothers, Edmond Garcia and Vidal Garcia; and his nieces and nephew, Yolanda Panich, Judy Rodriguez, Andrea Caviness, and Arnie Garcia, along with their families. He is reunited in peace with his parents Jesus and Elsie, and sisters, Carol and Anita Garcia.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on December 6, 2025, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1314 Oswell Street, Bakersfield, CA.
