Bettye McAfee

Bettye McAfee August 7, 1927 - April 28, 2011 Bettye McAfee was born Bettye Ruth Bennett in Indiahoma, Oklahoma. She married Clarence "Chris" Chambers May 24, 1947 in Bakersfield. Chris died February 27, 1966 in LaMirada, Los Angeles. She married James E. McAfee April 14, 1979 in Genoa, Nevada. She was preceded in death by husband James McAfee, son Richard McAfee. She is survived by daughter Luana Baumeister, son and daughter-in-law Ed and Diane Chambers all of Carson City, Nevada. Also by daughter-in-law Susan McAfee of Bakersfield, grandchildren, Jarrod Baumeister, Chris, Joe and Robb Chambers, Julie and Adam McAfee and serveral great-grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be missed greatly. Bettye loved to cook for her family, and was always excited when a family gathering was going to happen. We would like to thank Calvary Bible Church and New Life Center prayer groups for all their prayer support.
