Christina Samano (née Ramirez) BSN, RNC-OB was born June 14, 1977, and was reunited with Christ our Lord on December 31, 2024.
Christina was raised in Colton, CA, by Agustin and Maria Ramirez, with three siblings: Rosa, Jorge, and Agustin Jr. She graduated from Colton High School in 1995.
Christina was a career nurse, earning her RN in 2000 from San Bernardino Valley College and her BSN in 2020 from Grand Canyon University. Her career as a registered nurse took her to Bakersfield, CA, where she raised her children Steven Paul, Caleb Joel, and Olivia Rey, with her loving husband Ramiro. A consummate professional, her career spanned two decades at Kern Medical Center and Mercy Southwest Hospital.
She is survived by her children Steven, Caleb and Olivia, her loving husband Ramiro, her parents Agustin and Maria, her three siblings, Rosa, Jorge and Agustin Jr., her brothers-in-law Daniel and Michael, and her mother-in-law Maria.
A rosary service and viewing will be held on January 23, 2025, from 5pm-8pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Bakersfield. A mass will be held at the aforementioned on January 24, 2025, from 10am-11am followed by interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Bakersfield.
