Earl Britt Obituary

Earl Britt, 65, of Cave Junction, died Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Three Rivers Community Hospital. He was born on May 22, 1942 in Steens, Mississippi. On December 1, 1963 in Las Vegas, Nevada, he married the former Mary Louise Hebbe, who survives. From 1961 until his retirement in 1993 he worked in the oil field as a consultant. After his retirement in 1993, he and his wife moved to Cave Junction. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren and fishing and camping. He also enjoyed many other outdoor activities and walking to the river. A loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. Earl is survived by his wife, Mary Britt of Oregon; son, David Britt of Oregon; and Steven Britt of California; brothers and sisters, Noah Lee Shaw; Dorothy and Jim Barron; and Nancy Cross, all of Alabama; Laverne Leonard of Oklahoma; Billy Shaw of Mississippi; Genene Britt and Earlene Baldwin, both of California; Linda Carol Robertson of Oregon; and Sara Lawary of Idaho; grandchildren, Matthew Britt, John David Britt, Kerstyn Britt, Brianne Blake, Brittany Blake, Jasmine Box, Regina Miller and Corinthian and Katelynne Britt. We will miss him terribly and remember his love always. In lieu of flowers, Earl requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 31 W. 6th Street, Medford, OR 97501. Private services.
