Estella A. Joven was born on September 6, 1956 in Bakersfield, CA to Lorenza Arroyos and Jesus Arroyos. Passes away on July 6, 2018. Estella is preceded in death by both parents, sister's Manuela Nunez, Petra Galvin and Pilar Ramos. She is survived by her sister Teresa Guiterrez, Brother Nacho Arroyos, and the Father of her children Fidencio Joven, daughter Samantha and son's Emilio and Joe Joven. Grandchildren Lorana, Riley, Cecelia, Aubrey, Joel, Josh, Autumn, Israel, Matthew, Elijah, Izabella Joven. Great-Grandchildren, Angel Martinez, Alina Sosa and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Estella worked for Tenneco West for 15+ years and UPS for 5 years. She attended Valley Bible Church and was baptized on June 28, was a very friendly and sociable person and would make friends everywhere she went, loved to travel, go to the shooting range, had many hobbies of baking/photography, ceramics, doing nails, getting together with family, a very generous person, very helping to anyone who needed help and loved more than anything dogs. Estella was loved by all and was a great mother to her children and a great sister to her siblings. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this hard time and San Joaquin Hospital, Nurse's JulieAnn Mattison and Ace. Palliative Care Nurse Aleece, Dr. Emmanuel Strategos, Dr. Nguyen for their care of Estella. Viewing Services for Estella A. Joven scheduled for Wed. 7/18 @ Basham 3312 Niles St. from 5-8 pm, Service Thursday 7/19 @Valley Bible Fellowship (VBF) 2300 E. Brundage Ln. @ 12 pm, Burial to follow at Union Cemetery 730 Potomac Ave with Reception held at Bakersfield Dome 2201 V St. (Corner of 21st & V)

I knew Stella (as I remember her) for a short time in high school. I remember her smiling face and infectious laugh! She was a fun person. I'm sorry to hear of her passing. Prayers go out to your family.

So many memories from our childhood, going to your house was scary cause your back yard was the cemetery but their was so many other times. I know we weren't close but you were family and family is forever. I know you are with my brother now will see you all later Love Tuti.
