Fred Sherman Obituary

FRED ALLEN SHERMAN

July 19, 1935 – January 30, 2025

Fred Allen Sherman was born July 19, 1935, in Fresno, California to Frank A. and Laura (Martin) Sherman. He graduated from Taft High School and Taft College.

Fred was a faithful member of the Church of Christ, Past High Priest of Taft Royal Arch Masons, Past Commander of Taft Commandry, and Past Patron of Faith Chapter Order of Eastern Star.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Fred is survived by his wife Martoria, brother-in-law Royal Stout, 4 nieces, 1 nephew, several great-nieces and great-nephews and a black cat named Princess. Also, by the Rosales family and extended families.

He worked 26 years for Atlantic Richfield in Cuyama Valley and Fairfield, retiring in 1985 as a field serviceman. Fred's favorite times were being with family, traveling, helping people and being with his wife of 65 years.
