Gordon Scallin

Gordon Scallin 1952 - 2011 Gordon Scallin was born November 25, 1952 in Amarillo, Texas. His family moved to Ridgecrest, California in 1965. He graduated from Sherman E. Burroughs High School in 1971, and then moved to Bakersfield, California to finish his education. He spent many years as a Terminal Manager for Viking Freight, ending his career as an owner and operator of GLS Pool Service. Gordon loved to hunt, fish, hike and camp. He was the ultimate outdoorsman, loving nature and life. He was a great friend to others, and had some of the best friends a man could have. Gordon enjoyed barbecuing with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Scallin, and his bother, Stephen Scallin. He is survived by his wife, Lorri Scallin, daughter Kari McArthur (Philip), son Brad Scallin (Moreen), daughter Tracy Holdcraft (Ryan), daughter Stacey Davis (Dave), father Gordon Scallin, sister Saundra Sutherlen, and six grandchildren, Kylee, Breauna, Caden, Taylor, Jonah and Chloe.
