As President of the Los Angeles Central City Optimist Club, a non profit organization designed to help the youth of the Chinatown area, I was very sadden to hear of the passing of Howard. Howard was a respected member of the Optimist Club and will always be remembered by the Club and most important by the numerous children whom he helped. I personally will remember Howard, who over twenty years ago, helped a young new member of the club fit in. I was honored to call Howard a friend and I will miss him. My condolences to Betty and the family.
