James Villegas-DeLaRosa Obituary

James "Gordo" is the beloved son to Leticia DeLaRosa and Ramiro Villegas and was born in Bakersfield, CA.
James was the youngest of six and is survived by his siblings, Peter, Joe, Tony, Francine, Sarina and In-laws Frank, Diane and Nancy. Along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Also, his best bud Chales and his special ladies Sam and Monkey.
James was a dedicated member of St Joseph's Catholic Church and was always active to get more people to join him in following our Lord and savior. James was a lead example to do more for other than you do for yourself. James was employed by Sturgeon and Son's and worked hard to take care of his mother.
A rosary/closed viewing will be held November 25th, from 4:00 to 8:00PM, location pending (Greenlawn or St Joseph's). A catholic mass will follow November 26th 10:00AM at St Joseph's church, funeral services will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery 3700 River Blvd. James is God's gift to us, is loved by many and will be sorely missed by all. We will miss his big smile, big heart and his ability to always put a smile on your face by his random acts of kindness and dancing.
