Janet Erassarret Obituary

Bakersfield Janet Marie Borda Erassarret was born on January 20, 1940, to Pete and Blanche Borda in Bakersfield, California. She was the oldest of Pete and Blanche's 3 children, with 2 brothers Larry and Pete Borda. Janet graduated from Garces in 1958 and married Jean Erassarret. They had two children Jean Michel Erassarret III and Deadra Marie Erassarret Dellinger.
Janet enjoyed life with her husband. They spent many years of boating and deep-sea fishing on the pacific ocean, near Oxnard and Ventura. Vacationing at their home in Channel Island Harbor and Bass Lake with many family get togethers.
She was also a great artist, painting people /portrait. She has left us with a handful of great paintings. Janet was the sweetest, caring, and fun lady that blessed us all. Anyone who knew her would agree that she did not have a mean bone in her body.
Her soul, kindness and grace will be deeply missed, leaving us with a blueprint we can only aspire to emulate.
Janet is survived by her husband, Jean Erassarret Sr., children Jean Erassarret III and Deadra Erassarret Dellinger, her grandchildren Samantha Erassarret Prosperi, Holly Erassarret, Daisy Dellinger, Lauren Dellinger, Shon Dellinger, and Easton Dellinger and great-grandchildren Gino Prosperi, Gemma Prosperi, Nash Johnson and Knox Johnson.
Services will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Greenlawn Cemetery, 3700 River Blvd.
