A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at noon at All Saints Anglican (Episcopal) Church, 3200 Gosford Rd., Bakersfield, for Jearl Dean Echols, 87, who passed away peacefully on February 13, 2008. A burial will be held on Friday 22, 2008 the San Joaquin National Cemetery in Gustine, CA. Jearl was born in Stanley, New Mexico and was a retired Naval Hospital Corpsman, retired farmer and businessman. However, his most important roles in life were as husband, father, step-father, grandfather, and great grandfather. His love for God, family and neighbor was always abundant and always shown by his actions. Jearl, you will be sorely missed but we rejoice that you are in the hands of our Heavenly Father.
