John went to be with the Lord Saturday night. He was born in Taft, August 7, 1946.
He attended Taft schools and was a member of the 1964 class. He served in the U.S. Army during 1966 to 1969 and served in Vietnam. John worked 21 years for Shell Oil. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and car races.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry A. Bledsoe. His survivors are his wife, Kathy; their son, Chris and his wife Cyril; their daughter, Nicole and her husband, Chip Arnold and Johns mother, Audrey; and a host of family and friends.
His celebration of life will be Thursday, February 12, at 11:00 a.m., at West Hills Church of the Nazarene, 300 Lassen St., Taft.
