JOHN JUNOR ROARK

January 16, 1938 – July 3, 2025

John was born January 16, 1938 to Johnnie and Juanita Roark, in Bakersfield, California, and passed away July 3, 2025 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He joined the Marine Corps at 17, and was deployed to Okinawa Japan. He worked for many years for Haberfelde Ford and Jim Burke Ford, with clients as far as the Philippines. His work handle was The Parts man With Wheels on His Pen. He left Bakersfield for Northern CA. where he became a minister with the Pentecostal Church of God for many years. Later moving his family to Las Cruces, New Mexico.

John was preceded in death by his mother and father, younger brother Bobby Joe and younger sister Donita.

John is survived by his wife Florentina, sons John Edward and James Leo and daughter Veronica E Roark of Deming, New Mexico. Granddaughters, Diana, Jennifer, Erica, Chelse, and Mackenzie. Grandsons Anthony, Cody, and Raven. Great-granddaughter Alianna, and great-grandson Kazan. His brother Dennis Roark and sister-in-law Loretta Roark, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be October 7, 2025 at 10:45 at Bakersfield National Cemetery.
