Julie Cady Ulmer

Julie Cady Ulmer, 66 passed away after a valiant fight with ovarian cancer at home on October 31st, 2014. Julie was born in Oildale and graduated from North High and attended San Joaquin Business College. During her professional career she worked for companies such as Shell Oil, Petro Lewis and Kern Schools Credit Union, from which she retired.
Julie was known for being a "classy lady". She had superb taste and her homes and personal appearance always reflected that. Always fun loving, Julie would meet with her gal friends, the Ya Ya's, and they would attend the theater in Los Angeles and New York.
Julie is survived by her husband Hal Ulmer of Nipomo, California,daughter Brooke Arciszewski of Walnut California, grandsons Myles and Cole Fendrick of Cypress, California, and Hank and Harrison Arciszewski of Walnut, brother Webb Cady of El Centro, nieces Hallie Thomson, Chelsey Guitierrez and Carissa Cady of Bakersfield, and dog Chester.
She is preceded in death by her beloved son Jim Fendrick, and her parents Virgina and Harry Cady. There will be a celebration of her life in the upcoming weeks.
