My heart just dropped. My heartfelt condolences to the Nylander family. Justin and Jessica were such role models full of kindness and integrity besides their God given talents. Just the sweetest family Both of them were such an encouragement to me as their jr high choir teacher and everyone I saw that they came in contact with. May God give you peace that surpasses all understanding and comfort during this time and the days to come.

Justin and I met as coworkers at Albertsons and we very quickly became friends. One of my fondest memories of him was sharing music. I was on the hunt for new songs and he gave me an entire playlist to listen to. He was one of the kindest souls I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He became someone I could confide in and he would do the same with me. Sending so much love to everyone that knows him and to his family. To the Nylander´s, I hope you find healing in knowing how loved your boy is. Until we meet again

Mr. and Mrs. Nylander and Jessica,
My heart goes out to you all as you grieve Justin´s passing. His 5th grade year must seem like a long time ago now, but as his teacher my memories of him are heartwarming and vivid. Justin was a bright light in our classroom, offering a reassuring smile and a caring ear to all. He was sensitive beyond his years in his awareness of others and his love of God was always a huge part of who he was.
Love and prayers to your family

Justin Nylander was my first love. My favorite memory with him was when we were at a football game and he invited me over to his house for the first time. I said yes and after the game was over he didn´t get in his car because he knew it would take too long. So, he ran as fast as he could to his house to go clean his room. Another memory I have with him was when we were listening to music in his car and the music stopped we looked at each-other and said the same song "Cigarettes out the Window" by TV Girl. We then screamed that song all the way home. I loved going to Mexico with him. I remember the song Annie by Michael Jackson started playing and he danced the entire song. I also loved that during that same trip I made us put our feet in a fish tank and if you don´t know he was super ticklish so the fact that he even put his feet in that tank where they are eating our toes is crazy. Justin and I had a special connection that not everyone gets to experience and I´m so grateful I had the opportunity to have that connection with him. See you later Justin

I remember hanging out with Justin in the office when we were office runners. We both loved to sit there and crack jokes, Justin always made me smile even when I was having a bad day. Love you Justin until I see you again, I´ll make sure to have some good jokes to tell you next time I see you.

I loved Justin’s energy as soon as we met sophomore year. We had science together and shortly after he had a crush on my best friend in high school. Soon enough they started dating shortly after. He was always so goofy and lighted up the room in school. It was always a good time when around him. The most memorable time I had with him that I’ll never forget was when we were seniors in high school. I asked him if he could hang out with my boyfriend to make him feel more included and gain more friends since he was new to our high school. Without any hesitation he said yes and invited him to a couple of gathering and other hangouts. I remember crying in joy when I got home, because my boyfriend was genuinely so happy they got to hang out. To this day I thank him for that. The photo you see was from a video from the last time we hung out. He was dancing and showing off lol. I’ll miss his goofy butt. Love you Justin

There are so many memories we have with Justin. He became a part of our family. I've missed our many discussions on politics, life, goals and God. His sense of humor and his enduring smile. Justin will always hold a special place in our lives and in our hearts.

I was blessed to have had many fun times with Justin. The picture below is from our time at camp in which Justin stayed in the cabin I chaperoned. Like in the photo I will always have fond memories of his enduring smile and super silly laugh.

Justin is my little cousin. I used to love to ask him how many girlfriends he had when he was little. Every thanksgiving I´d ask and he´d smile super big and give me his answer. I also loved to watch he and my son play and talk about music. I´m honored to be his cousin. I love and miss him a lot.

From the first day I met Justin at our orientation at Walmart, I will always remember his kind eyes, and smile that would light up any room. He always greeted me with a smile and asked how I was doing. He had a big heart and will be truly missed.

I have known Justin since we were kids, he was like a brother to me. We use to laugh and play jokes on each other. Always played with nerd guns, just always had a blast. I only have memories when we were kids. Will always love him like family.

I was in choir with Justin in Jr. High. One of my favorite memories of him was on our 8th grade Disney trip. We must have gone on Tower of Terror a dozen times and spent hours in line laughing and joking with friends, and talking about music and Hume. Justin was always nice to me and included everyone.

Growing up we were always laughing and hanging out with our little sisters while being babysat. My sister and I were always so excited to go over. We would go to church trips and always telling stories and laughing. Just recently we were catching up when we ran into eachother teasing eachother about how tall he was and how short i am. Justin was truly a good friend to so many people.

I will always remember how embarrassed I was to perform with guard at the school rallies. There was a specific friend group that just made so much fun of us for it. After every rally I would try to get out of there as fast as I could, but Justin found me every time and gave me the biggest hug and smile. He told me how cool it was and how proud of me he is. I´ll never forget the peace and happiness he brought to me in those moments.

One of my favorite memories, is at Lesa's CSUB graduation. I hadn't seen Justin in a few months & when we said hello, he gave me the BIGGEST & BEST hug! Also, his smile darkened the sun because it was soooo big, bright, & beautiful!!!! You are so loved & missed. Until we meet again in His house, I'm thankful to have him watching over us.

Justin and I sat together at our high school graduation. We had such a fun time. I remember feeling relieved I was sitting next to him because he never failed to make me laugh or just give me a smile. We had the best time just joking and laughing with each other through the whole ceremony.
