It´s been 16 years and I never stopped thinking about you. I miss you so much. I could only imagine how everyone lives would be if you were here. Tell Dustin I love him so much and we miss him so much down here. I know you both are telling hella jokes right now, lol. I wonder if you can still do that funny Mr. Wilson impression, lol. I can´t wait until we all meet again. I hope God let´s us have a Golden Valley reunion. Keep visiting me in my dreams. I love you and always will.

My prayers and loving thoughts go out to the entire Banks family. Although your grief for your loved one, makes your hearts heavy with pain, hopefully the beautiful words of praise and compliments from so many in the community who knew him, can bring you a small amount of comfort at this time. Leonard developed from a beautiful baby into a handsome son, and was making his way into becoming a distinguished young man. It's an awesome tribute to his parents and family, that this young man was so loved and respected. The road of life is rugged for right now, but keep walking on by faith. You are always in my prayers.

As I sit here wondering what to say, I just can't believe that I had to say good bye like this. I mean when i saw you @ the BHS and Stockdale football game, I wouldn't ever think that you would be taken from us this soon. So just know you will never be 4 gotten and missed by many loved by all. 2 the family...Keep a positive attitude and a strong mind. It's going to be hard @ 1st but you will make it through with GOD by your side. Im sorry!! R.I.P Leonard E. Banks..WE LOVE YOU!!

Hey Leonard it's me Mary i'm sorry that i can't make your funeral it's just hard for me to attend funerals and plus as you know i moved to El Paso, Texas. I'm gonna miss you so much it's to bad that you had to go so soon but GOD only takes the best. All i can say is that i love you with all my heart i always have and i always will. I've known you for seven (7) years and i didn't ever think that i would see the day you left my life i sometimes cry myself to sleep at night. I hope you live in the sky with our heavenly father and i hope to see you again one day. I can remember the first time we met i was in the 5th grade and you were in the 6th i kind of gave you a hard time but after a while we grew to be good friends and i appreciated your friendship can't wait til the day we reunite in heaven with one another. I LOVE YOU & I WILL ALWAYS AND 4EVER MISS YOU!!!!!!!

Leonard was a beautiful and nice loveable young man. he always had that beautiful smile that will brighten your day up. since i have known Leonard he was a pleasure to have in class, work, and during the day anytime you needed a smile Loenard had it. Leonard was never the type of person that will put you down and if you ever needed someone to talk to about a problem Leonard was the one. Knowing Leonard was one of the joys of my life. You love of life, family and friends is very rare in today's world. I will forever hold dear the memories of going to basketball tournaments with Leonard and the girls. Leonard will be missed more than words can express by my family and I. My love and prayers go out to Leon, Karen, Edwina, Shalon, Ziggy, Asia and the rest of the family.

hey leonard i just wanted to let you know that i'll always miss, but you will never be forgotten by me. remember freshmean year at south, during basketball season you always tried to race me up and down the court cause you always thought that you was faster then me. haha those were the days. man you left us to soon and its like everytime i think about the accident it feels like a nightmare that doesn't wants to end. leonard banks i miss you man, but just remember that you will always be in the heart of the one that cared about you especially mines.
