Lucy Bracamonte Obituary
Services: Thurs. May 23, 10:30 a.m.
Lucy Bracamonte passed away on Friday, May 17. Services will be held on Thursday, May 23, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 9915 Ramos Ave. Lucy was born December 26, 1914 and died after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Bracamonte, sons Harry Bracamonte and Ernie Bracamonte. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Alfred and Carol Bracamonte, Joe and Kathy Bracamonte and brother, Sam Freselli; grandsons, Ernest Jr. Bracamonte, Steve Bracamonte, Ken Bracamonte, Chris Bracamonte, Doug Bracamonte; granddaughters, Pam Wolf and husband, Corey, Kathy Rivera and husband, Mike, Krista Crawford and husband Greg; 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Lucy was married for 55 years and after raising her family worked at Garces Memorial High School for 10 years and Mercy Hospital for 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and volunteering at her church. She was a member of the altar society at Sacred Heart Church for many years. During her retirement, Lucy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and looked forward to annual family outings and special vacations. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ernest Jr. Bracamonte, Steve Bracamonte, Ken Bracamonte, Doug Bracamonte, Danny Bracamonte, and Corey Wolf.
The family would like to especially thank Hoffmann Hospice.
