Lydia Belle Carl June 30, 1934 - February 14, 2013 Lydia Belle Carl, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on February 14, 2013, at the age of 78. She was born on June 30, 1934, in Bakersfield, California, to Walter C. and Elsie Jane (Hudkins) Stormont. She received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development at Modesto Junior College, in Modesto, California. Lydia worked for the government in the Health and Human Services department, in both California and Texas, for over 20 years. She delivered Meals On Wheels in Princeton, Texas, and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Princeton, Texas for over 15 years. She is survived by her children, Lyndia Martin and husband Ronald of Princeton, Michael Carl and wife Brenda of McKinney, Marcus Carl and wife Jerri of Princeton; grandchildren, Matthew Carl and wife Brittany, Dallas Carl, Christine Riney and husband Micah, Michael Martin, David Carl, Samuel Carl, Katherine Carl and William Carl; great-grandchildren, Mason and Hayden Carl; sisters, Joy Bircher of Caruthers, California, Jean Towne of Sacramento, California and Barbara Jane Lewis of Sacramento, California. Lydia is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Elsie Stormont; husband, Milo Carl; children, Lorelei Carl, Marlin Carl and Maynard "Bo" Carl; six brothers and 2 sisters. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Faith Baptist Church, 1306 N. 6th Street, Princeton, Texas 75407, with Rev. Stan Fike officiating. Interment will follow at Rdgeview Memorial Park, in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held at 6:00 p.m., Saturday evening, at the church.
