Majorie Stutchman Obituary

Viewing of an angel will be Friday, March. 9th, at Mish Funeral Home in Oildale, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March. 10th, at 10:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Her brother Herman Lippert will officiate at the services. Marjorie Stutchman was born December 8, 1921 in Fellows, CA to Herman and Vinetta Lippert. She went to elementary school in Fellows and then in high school rode the bus to the big city of Taft. In her later years she drove to Bakersfield to attend Federico Beauty School but decided she liked being a bookkeeper instead. She and her husband both got their pilot's licenses and loved to fly together, especially to Pismo Beach where they had their dream house. Marjorie loved the church and teaching the Word to many people. It made her life complete. She and her husband, Melvin Stutchman, moved to Bakersfield in 1971 and bought Central Body Works and ran a family business. Marjorie retired and Mel kept working until he passed away in 2000. Marjorie was preceded in death by her sister, Claudia Lippert; father, Herman Lippert, Sr.; mother, Vinetta Lippert; and husband, Melvin Stutchman. She is survived by daughters, Roberta David; Jeaneene Campbell and her husband, Wayne and family; Tamie Harper and fiancé, David Broome; grandson, Vernon David and his wife, Sheri and children, Lindsey and Jason; grandson, Michael David; brother, Herman Lippert Jr., and his wife, Peggy and family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Parkinson's Institute, Hoffmann Hospice or to your favorite charity. Majorie Stutchman Dec. 8, 1921 - Mar. 6, 2007
